About iTAG100 Intrinsically Safe Wi-Fi RFID Tag

The iTAG100 Intrinsically Safe Tag is the intrinsically safe version of the T2 Wi-Fi Tag giving a real time location of assets and personnel using standard Wi-Fi infrastructure. This tag is intrinsically safe and has been US certified (FM approved), US Mine Safety & Health Administration approved and Canada certified (MET approved). The tag is enabled with chokepoint detection technology, which provides an instant notification when an individual passes a defined area. The tag can be attached to an with Velcro, adhesives and tie-wraps and is suitable in a wide variety of industries in any envrionment

Workplace Usage Overview

The iTag100 Intrinsically Safe Tag allows full tracking and detection of personnel. Using a standard Wi-Fi network making its deployment simple and fast. The chokepoint detection points give instant programmable notifications. The device also has optional call buttons, which can be pushed in the events of emergency. The call button can also be programmed to emit different messages depending on the pattern that it is pushed. The tags are also enabled with motion sensors, which can also be configured to trigger certain alerts but help conserve battery and network traffic when the device is not in use. The device is intrinsically safe and has been US certified (FM approved), US Mine Safety & Health Administration approved and Canada certified (MET approved) ensuring safe functionality in sensitive environments.
